Day 5 is up! #HealthySpine Day 5: High Plank. Hello to all of you! This is my first post for the #healthyspine challenge and I couldnt be more excited to join @lisettejohn @ladydork and @humblebeginningsyoga for this awesome month ahead. I also 💙 me some planks. So. Yes. Here we go. A great full body strengthener, especially for the entire core: front and back of the body. Feel free to modify on your knees if you need. 1 - Come on to your hands. Stack shoulders elbows and wrists on top of each other. Press your hands down into the ground to get your shoulders out of your ears. 2 - Press your heels back behind you if your on your feet (or put your knees down). Your butt should be down in line with your shoulders and your knees. 3 - Keep your quads engaged, and engaged, whole body is active. 4 - Breathe breathe breathe. Tag us all!
