Day 5 of Gratefulness: First, I am grateful for cutting back my work schedule to two days a week. I love my job and would miss my customers and fellow employees if I didnt work at the hardware store but the third day was wearing me down. Now I will have extra time to work on some pending projects. Secondly, like my friend Joann Petlick Ireland, I love the ocean. I was fortunate to grow up on an island with the ocean everywhere, and lucky that I live on an island in the Florida Keys where you are never very far from the water. Lastly for today I am extremely blessed that I was able to buy a new Ford Explorer with all the bells and whistles. I had my truck for 8 years and it served me well but it was time for a change. This new vehicle is very roomy and ever so comfortable. Its a beauty and am sure we will have it for many years to come. Have a splendid day everybody.
