Day # 5 of Thankful 30! Today I am thankful to wake up and know that I WILL NO LONGER GET PHONE CALLS AT 9pm to hear POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS! I voted, and I am proud of it. But, I am questioning how the heck Cuomo got back in!!!! I am sorry, but I am not one to share my political beliefs, but I do know that I will NEVER support Cuomo until he educates himself better in the Education Field. He does NOT understand Education or Child Development AT ALL! I do want to make a public suggestion to Mr. Cuomo............I thoroughly believe that I would 100% support you going BACK TO COLLEGE and taking ALL Early Childhood and Literacy courses.........please educate yourself sir, in the way that children develop and how they learn. Then go to a rural school in UPSTATE NY and try teaching under our BUDGETS & PRACTICES. Then after that, Ill even cook a beautiful meal for you using LOCAL ingredients grown by our hard-working Schoharie Valley farmers, heck Ill even make you an espresso, so we can chat in our Upstate town that was FLOODED BY HURRICANE IRENE, that is STILL TRYING TO RECOVER..Maybe then we can go hunting --- Ill show you how guns can be used safely and for sporting purposes....Then maybe we can discuss education with other Upstate Educators on our Turf! Maybe then your degrading comments and outlook on TEACHERS will be different! Mr. Cuomo, I pray that your outlook on things will be different and that your mind opens to the needs of the UPSTATE NY people who pay taxes too! With Love, Shelby Murphy-Miller
