Day 5 of gratitude: I am so grateful for all the wonderful people who have made me laugh in my life. That has been the most powerful feeling I have ever experienced and may be why I was so attracted to that form of the entertainment world. Much like a person whos life is saved decides they want to be a doctor, I have always wanted to make people feel as filled with Joy as I was by the wonderful talents of so many marvelous comics; male and female, who made me smile; grin; giggle; chuckle; chortle; guffaw, and downright belly laugh. Early on it was the 3 Stooges and the Marx Bros. and the Lil Rascals and Charlie Chaplin, and Buster Keaton and Laurel and hardy and Red Skelton and Art Carney and Jackie Gleason and Dick Van Dyke and Lucille ball and Sid Caesar and Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner and Imogene Coca and Carol Burnett and Milton Berle and Stiller and Meara and Lewis and Martin and Jonathan Winters and Bob Newhart and Stan Freberg and Bill Cosby and Alan Sherman and Burns and Allen and Joan Rivers and Rodney Dangerfield and Don Rickles and Gene Wilder and Phil Silvers and Peter Sellers and Ernie Kovacs ...
