Day 5 of my FIV Kitty Hall of Fame: Harvey Langford. Harveys mum - TopicsExpress

Day 5 of my FIV Kitty Hall of Fame: Harvey Langford. Harveys mum Melissa is a supporter of Ingrids Haven. Harvey is not from the Haven himself but Melissa has a lovely story to tell of how he came into her life and as you can see from the pictures he happily lives with his non-FIV siblings Hi Miles, I live in a small country town and have taken in many stray puds, Ingrid and BAWCS have helped me rehome some of them but I have 10 cats living with me. Harvey was a little stray who was hanging around just over 3 years ago. I fed him for a while then when he finally trusted me enough to come close and wait for food I managed to trap him (not easy, it took months for him to get in the trap and Miss Ingrid gave me some good advice to help catch him). He was young and in good health apart from a yucky eye wound which the vets treated, he also tested fiv+ which didnt change the way I felt about him at all, if anything it made me more protective of him. It took around 3 months for me to get his trust, he went from a terrified hissing ball of fluff to a chubby smooch, even the vets couldnt believe the change in him. He lives quite happily with all my other cats and is very affectionate with me, I love him to bits and he snuggles with me on the bed every night. All my cats are special but the strays like harvey who come directly to me are just meant to be somehow. Much love to you and yours from Harvey and his =^..^=
