Day 5 of scripture bible challenge. Judy Rhodes and Felisha Simpson Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. ( Psalm 119:105) How can we see, unless the Lord provides the light? How can we take steps in the right direction, unless His Spirit leads us? Our direction and ability to stay on the path, depends on us yielding our will to His for our lives. Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in His way The word illuminates areas in our lives that need the Lords touch. Revealing things that need to be re-aligned to the Word of God. Its like turning on a light in a room, it reveals all the beauty and the flaws. Its so awesome to know that even when the light of the Word reveals a flaw, the Lords love is there to correct and direct us back to the right path, Amen! James 1:22-24 ( Amplified) But be doers of the Word (obey the message) and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves ( into deception by reasoning contrary to the truth). 23 For if anyone only listens to the Word without obeying it and being a doer of it, he is like a man who looks carefully at his (own) natural face in the mirror; 24 For he thoughtfully observes himself, and then goes off promptly forgets what he was like WOW!! The Word of God is better than any world class plastic surgeon trying to temporarily fix a flaw in the flesh. For the Lord goes beneath the surface and gets to the very heart of the matter. Why? So we can mature and walk fully into our purpose!! Amen!! This is my scripture for today with some study explanation. I pray that we read, reread, meditate, and apply the word of God to our life, Amen!! Your girl Queen 😘😘😘
