Day 6: Im thankful for blessings! Earlier today I received an email saying that I had received a deposit on my college bank card for the amount of $419! Totally unexpected! And couldnt have came at a better time. So tonight I treated the boys to dinner and afterward went to Target. Carson came to me with a pair of shoes and I simply told him not tonight, since we had gone to dinner and 2 of them got haircuts, I honestly couldnt put out another 30 bucks for shoes right now, since the money is going toward bills. A few minutes later a sales associate came to me with the shoes and said they were for the little boy in the yellow shirt. I didnt understand and told him thanks, but we hadnt planned on buying the shoes. He said actually, theyve already been paid for. Someone purchased them and asked me to give them to him. I didnt know what to say! I felt awful in a way, bc I dont like to take from people but at the same time I couldnt believe the kindness from a total stranger! People are so amazing! I pray God blesses that person double. And I cant wait to pay it forward!
