Day 6 Today we woke to rain on the roof and we feared the beach racing would be moved to a alternate venue. But the weather cleared apart from the famous southland winds. David organised a bus for us to save our bikes getting sand blasted while watching the races. The 50 lap race was won by a ktm but a modified road bike came 6th which was great to see. After the racing it was back to the church to thaw the body and consider the afternoon activities some choosing to cruise the bike shops and the rest chilling prior to the legends of racing function at the ascot which most of us were planning on attending. Another great day at the burt has been had. Many thanks again for all your Txts and prayers it means south to us all God Bless Micheal
