Day 61, News: Sipe stands her ground Sipe was certainly emerging as an independent player in the game; and which better week than this? Always very aware of the fact this was a game she was coming into sharp focus nearing the bitter sweet end. Having expressed over the course of the season that she was coming from a rougher upbringing than most, with knocks taken to her self-esteem in the past, she was breaking into her own. This morning while she and the other housemates were busy with their sculptures, she checked Macky2 for insinuating that she was always sensitive and, in her opinion, making Africa view her in a negative light. This after Macky2 and JJ had again labelled her a sensitive Sally for taking their comments about last night seriously. Last night she joined M’am Bea and Tayo in singing, dancing and chanting at the top of their voices in a campaign to distract The Three Suckers and others and cause general chaos and disruption. Later in her diary session she confessed to Biggie that they were simply giving the bandits a taste of their own medicine after all their pranking and being the centre of attention. Macky2 wasn’t impressed and suggested that she had had one too many to drink last night but Sipe couldn’t have been bothered by his observation because, according to her, he was just bitter that the joke was on them. Dont judge me Finally, in as much as Macky2 backed down and explained that he didn’t mean to offend her and that he was always her friend, she needed him to let her be because she wasn’t naïve. She too could and was playing them at their own game. Although she seemed to always have the fire in her this was a striking growth from the Sipe of a couple of weeks back, when Macky2’s girlfriend came in for his family freeze task.
