Day +61 Update Were here for another night. In addition to Pierces elevated cyclosporine level, he also has an increased urea nitrogen level and increased creatinine level. These things combined are not good and need to be monitored. But wait, theres more... His white blood cell count decided to tank today. He went from 2,000 yesterday to 800 today. This drops his ANC to below 500. To quote the nurse practitioner, If he was inpatient right now, we wouldnt let him go out on pass. Basically, his body is very susceptible right now to any germs floating around as his immune function is significantly decreased. So, we are waiting to determine where were staying tonight. Then well check in and hang out in the room. Pierce is the bubble boy tonight. Were not taking any chances. This mom has been as strong as she can be for Savannah and Pierce but its tough to not be upset over missing another day of reuniting my family!
