Day 64 of 125 Days of Prayer – Matthew 20:26-28 My WMU Story: Mary Yarnell, Jefferson City, TN (former missionary to Singapore, Malaysia, Guam) My WMU story began when I was very young and my grandmother took me to her “Missionary Meeting”. I lacked understanding but it struck me that it was something extremely important. My mother lead Sunbeams in our small country church. I remember the little cardboard Japanese doll that hung on my bedroom wall. As we completed requirements, various portions of the doll were colored. YWA houseparties at Carson-Newman College impacted me and led to my hearing God’s call to international missions. In retirement WMU is a major part of my life as I seek to involve other women in missions. Help me, Gracious Lord, to serve You by serving others.
