Day #68 The team of four ventured up to the site across the frozen landscape. The task of the morning was to make the most of the mild weather, where we cut the tyvek for the metal profiles above the windows, whilst Sara followed with her fine taping skills. We had a hard time with the flying tyvek tape because of the strong wind later in the morning. Sara casually catches the flying ladder with her foot, whilst hanging from the gutter. It was a day of many seasons, as sun lead to a strong Easterly swirling wind followed by rain, and calmness in the evening. We were very grateful to receive some help from Janne, as the wind was making work hard. It is lovely that she took care of lunch for us. By the end of lunch the sun was down so we worked with little light in the evening. Andy nearly killed Sara as he leaned back on her ladder almost toppling Sara onto the drop saw, but he also saved her so… yeah. We left ’early’ at 8pm from work to go to the cosy and relaxing sauna to sweat away all of the days stresses. The warmth of the cognac was very nice with the three hour sauna. We had many round in the water between sauna sessions. Andy tried to catch some fish during a break, however after some time he decided that it was too dark for the fish to see the lure. There was a fantastic dinner to follow, with a lovely Portuguese wine, complements of Janne. Sara wanted to do yoga after dinner, however there is only so much time in a day. Sara, dreads going back to reality and would like to stay on the island… Life is good. - Sara Wik & Andy Devine
