Day 69 SampaTeam: Fighting Predatory Alienation #bringSamhome May 2012 Letter to Mr.and Mrs D: Familial Interference On November 13th with the two-day post of Day 54 and 55 I began to share the 12-page letter we wrote to Mr. and Mrs. D in May of 2012 after they repeatedly refused to meet with our family to discuss the welfare of our then 19-year-old children. That post shared the outline and the five topics of concern we had as well as the purpose of that letter. With the Day 56 and Day 57 posts I shared the first topic: recruitment. Day 60 covered topic #2: alienation and Day 65 discussed topic #3: controlling behavior (of the boyfriend). Today I will be skipping #4 (I will come back to that one) and will be sharing topic #5: familial interference. Much of this information in todays post has been mentioned or referred to before here on the SampaTeam page. But again - I must emphasize - that because I am repeatedly attacked by the D family for supposedly only showing part of the story or twisting the truth or sometimes they just flat out call me a filthy liar, I am taking great pains to show ALL of this May 2012 letter in its entirety. I will be taking similar pains in sharing accurate, fact-based information AND the evidence to back up that information in all future posts. I would really rather not have to do it this way - it makes the posts long, difficult to write, boring to read and emotionally draining as hell to produce (hence no significant Day # post in the last week). But I feel absolute transparency is one of the few tools we have that may help us succeed in getting some help for our dear Samantha. So be it. The truth is indeed the best defense. Just maybe it is the best offense, too - even if it is sometimes long and tedious. Please bear with me and thank you to all SampaTeam supporters for your patience! I have included with this post a screen shot of the Familial Interference section of the May 2012 letter to the Ds. I have also included the last page of a two-page hand-written letter sent to Sam in late March or early April of 2012 by Mrs. D. The end of this letter shows Mrs. Ds usual love bombing technique and also the sign-off reference that Mrs. D wrote to a certain bible verse: Psalms 25:19. (See how many enemies I have and how viciously they hate me!). It should be noted that Mrs. D sent this letter to Sam with the bible verse covered in white out. She apparently thought better about being that blunt or honest about her opinions and/or intentions in regards to Sams family. We were curious about what she might have deleted and why - so we carefully scraped the white-out off to reveal what are evidently Mrs. Ds true thoughts. With this kind of dishonesty and dysfunction Sam never had a chance once she met her boyfriends family - which was a few days after she started dating him. I will address the full text of this handwritten letter of Mrs. Ds in a separate post. The family photos today include two pics taken in August 2010 at my parents 50th wedding anniversary weekend celebration at the Mount Washington Hotel in New Hampshire. The family portrait shows Sam laughing and happy while surrounded by family that she is apparently told are her enemies. I, of course, beg to differ. The second pic shows her joyfully goofing around with one of those enemies - her little cousin Sophie. In the last three years the D family has robbed EVERYONE in our family of what would have been and should have been so many similar moments of joy. We WILL have more of that joy with Sam in the future. Bet on it.
