Day #7 - 15 Minutes Challenge Weve reached our one week mark! Take a minute to pat yourselves on the back if youve spent the last seven days focusing on finding time for yourself - being mindful of the time you have - taking small steps to improve your health. The quote below, I think, sums up why this group is here. Many of you know that Dionna Ford and I were invited to participate in an experiment on Nightline a few weeks ago with Fit Mom Maria Kang. We asked her to consider the fact that most people arent motivated by shame and insults; that if she truly wanted to help people focus on their health, it might be better accomplished by providing a place of acceptance and support. While we dont have followers in 17 countries, I do see amazing things happening in this group each day, and it has inspired me more than I ever could have imagined. For many of us today is a holiday, but I hope youll continue to spend 15 minutes focusing on yourself, your well-being. So many of us are caretakers, and we forget that we have to take care of ourselves before we can take care of others. And if you have a moment, let us know if this group has helped you.
