Day 7 cont. Totally glad I got to spend the day in Astoria. Followed a bath for nearly 20km around the river, fog was heavy at the start and you could not even see Washington on the other side. Two highlights, the bridge (always had a thing about bridges) and then coming across a heap of seals sunning themselves. It was prime real estate and they were funny to watch. This place reminds me a little of Fremantle. As you walk down the street it goes coffee shop, coffee show, micro brewery and so on... Plus lots of big ships and cold.
