Day 7 of No Shopping 2015...........how a mutual mooching relationship can keep you on the straight and narrow! I grew up with a little brother and no sisters, so I didnt get to enjoy the fun of sharing clothes and jewelry with a female sibling. I wore some things of my moms, but she and I have very different taste and sizes. So, imagine my surprise and delight when I had a daughter who LOVED my clothing and jewelry, and not only asked to borrow things, but also allowed ME to do the same! Today I am wearing two of my sweet baby girls items.........these beautiful earrings were a gift, along with a gorgeous statement and matching bracelet, from her bonus mama and aunt for her senior prom last year. While I havent had the opportunity to wear the necklace and bracelet (believe me, Im looking for one), the earrings are perfect to wear every day. Plus, they look like real diamonds.........so how much of a score is that? The scarf is one of my daughters newest aquisitions, and Ill bet Ive worn it more than she has.........but thats ok because several of MY items have taken up residence in HER closet! She knows she can come in and shop my closet whenever she likes, and she allows me to do the same. Just another facet of our great relationship, and also a boon to the budget!
