Day 7 of the Thomas and Company 12 Days of Giving!!! For this very important day of giving, we are going to ask the help of all of our friends. We hope that our 12 Days of Giving inspires others to be givers! Meet Lori Mills. This stunning wife and mother of 3 was diagnosed with a rare debilitating disease in 2012 call Chronic Inflammatory Demylelinating Polyneuropathy. This is an autoimmune disease that attacks the nervous system. Lori is no longer responding to treatments and her health has been deteriorating over the past year. She is in need of a stem cell transplant, however, she received news that her insurance provider Blue Cross Blue Shield is denying coverage for the procedure. We wanted to treat Lori to a little pampering that she so deserves. So with the help of a friend (thanks Lisa Day:) we surprised Lori with a basket of her favorite things.
