Day +74: A big hospital day today. First up an inhalation - TopicsExpress

Day +74: A big hospital day today. First up an inhalation medication to replace one of the antibiotics that had to be excluded. This is given in a sealed room for 30min in the infectious disease ward. Then standard blood tests and line cleaning. Followed up by the Docs. So whats going on inside.... most bloods looking good. Kidneys dropping enough to warrant a thumbs up mention:) Damn liver levels the last 20 days just keep inching up every test :( It is not a surprise with the medication load and treatments so far. On the outside.... its a bit crappy that Damien is still feeling the foot pain and today some knee pain as well, not helped with walking the hospital floors today. So a well earned afternoon with his feet up today. I picked up our lanterns for Light the Night and Gem is proudly going to carry Daddys white survivor lantern on Wednesday night when we walk our first Light the Night leukaemia awareness walk. Damiens feet just wont cope and we are still keeping him in a bit of a bubble while he clocks up that 100 day milestone Damien.
