Day 75 (August 16) Deep River to Petawawa, ON: Another soggy, but short day, on the bike. Great reception in Petawawa! I was met by the Deputy Mayor of Petawawa, Tom Mohns, Major Joe Tobin, Garrison Coordinator for Canadian Forces Base Petawawa, President of Canadian Veterans Advocacy, Mike Blais, members of the Royal Canadian Regiment Association with two local reporters from print media. It was so good to see old friends and reconnect after many years apart. Super to see support from local civilian and military communities! On to Ottawa tomorrow. Rumour has it the sun may be out!
