Day 78, woke up nice and early for breakfast then we headed out to the morning markets. Not much to see but dvds and games and some amazing thread for making the traditional skirts. Of course Christian and Apple brought more dvds and games, not that we dont have enough. Wanted to then go to buddha park, but the rain was falling. We had already looked into a tour for three days bu4 very expensive, so we went to suss a car to rent ourselves. Dont know how but we got a ute for 4 days. Very odd to drive yourself as most contracts come with the driver, but we did it. While we were waiting for the owner to show up at this random clothing store we were at, we decided to have lunch somewhere close. Hahaha walked into a chinese restaurant in Laos, menus only in chinese and no english hahahahaha, managed to get by and had a most awesome meal, great result.... We ended up driving around town and we went to an awesome temple. Walked around, brought some more postcards to send home and released some birds for good luck. Watch the video I will post soon. Had dinner after a relax in arvo in air con, then found a night carnaval. Apple had her first experience on bumper cars, awesome fun it was just the 3 of us. Off on our own road trip tomorrow morning, heading south to see the plains of pots... you will in few days know what I mean by this if you dont already.
