Day 8 The haunted B&B Hi all! Last nights gig in Zoetermeer was a genuine pleasure and a real treat for us as the crowd was amazing. Unlimited love to all of you who took the time to come and see the show. Our famous red bus left at 0200 in the morning to catch the Calais-Dover ferry. I was standing in line at the cafeteria on the boat when Dover appeared and managed to say to Jon those white cliffs sure went for the white cliffs of Dover look didnt they, where Jon replied, those are the white cliffs of Dover. It was at 0700 in the morning. When we arrived in Leamington Spa, the daddies of the group, Jon, Mikael and myself decided to look for a cosy bed and breakfast to wash some of the grime of the bus off and generally relax. We eventually found a place that looked good from the outside. Rose patterned wall paper and fake electric fire. The door was opened by a sixtyish plump woman in a floral gown of unknown origin. All was good until I noticed that she was barefoot and had long, brown, sharp toenails that made a clickety clack sound when she entered her kitchen to see if she had any vacancies. She looked like that landlady in the Roald Dahl short story that murdered and stuffed her guests and we werent quite up for that. At least not before lunch. Not to mention we still have a show to do tomorrow! So we quietly prayed that shed have no space for us as were much to polite to rush out in the justified panic we felt and our prayers were answered when she said sorry guys were all full. She probably should have said were all stuffed with the taxidermy vibe in the place but we were willing to go with the flow. Beggars cant be choosers and all that. Eventually we got a nice hotel where I ended up having to call an ambulance to come pick up the passed out guy in the hallway I found when i was going out for tuna, but it still felt better somehow. Safer, if you know what i mean. See some of you tomorrow at the Assembly. Be gentle with us as our nerves are frazzled. May the rivers of blood lead us to victory. Love Tom
