Day 81 - Josh is a teenager! He had his 13th birthday last week, I dont know where the time has gone. He celebrated with his friends on the weekend with a few mates for a sleepover and then more came on Sunday and they went to the archery park in Toodyay. It was so nice to see him happy and cheeky with his buddies. One of the gorgeous teacher assistants from Joshies school has started coming over 3 times a week to ease him back into school work and prepare him to hopefully get back to school next term. So far so good and its nice as its not me nagging. From the medical side everything is progressing well. Quickly approaching the 100 day mark when Josh can start to stop some medications and not be in such a high risk category for other complications. It will take approx 6mnths for some immunity to start to build in his body and then he will re-do his childhood immunisations. Then the rest of his cells will take about 2yrs to build immunity and strength. Its a stressful, scary and worrying journey, but weve a lot to be grateful for and just pray that things keep going well xx
