Day 86: SOTD: The Feeling- Fill My Little World Brief Background: - TopicsExpress

Day 86: SOTD: The Feeling- Fill My Little World Brief Background: Fill My Little World is a song by British group The Feeling, originally released in the UK on 7 November 2005 as their début limited edition 7 vinyl, but was unable to chart due to chart rules. It was re-released in the UK on 22 May 2006 following the success of the single Sewn and entered the UK Singles Chart at #28 on 21 May 2006 based on download sales alone. The following week it climbed to #10 as a physical single became available. The song was used in the final scene of the 2006 Christmas special for The Vicar of Dibley as Geraldine literally flies up into the sky as a sign of happiness. This is also the final scene of the series. The song also featured in the very first episode of The Inbetweeners, in a scene where Will is being picked up from school. Opinion: Im not sure what really happened to The Feeling. They had a few years where they were a roaring success and they produced brilliant songs around every corner. I like so much of their music, yet they seemed to have halted production. The last hit they had was A Hundred Sinners which is a great song too. However they seem to have disappeared into thin air, and there is no traces of them anywhere now. I hope they come back soon. Anyway, this was probably their biggest single, and its an awesome song. This will be the last SOTD before GCSE results tomorrow. Good luck to everybody, you have gave it your all, and at the end of the day thats all that any human being can do. Everythings crossed!
