Day 86 of my 100 days of happiness challenge. I’m taking the time to show my appreciation for the good things that made me happy today. Today’s thought for me to ponder: “Getting organized in the normal routines of life and finishing little projects youve started is an important first step toward realizing larger goals. If you cant get a handle on the small things, how will you ever get it together to focus on the big things?” Joyce Meyer ************************* I’m happy that I have and am putting together the finishing touches on several projects this week. Overjoyed that the little bit of work I did on Jennifer Thompson’s campaign ended successfully for her. Great meetings with the Avalon Park Foundation’s Gala Silent Auction committee and the Foundation’s Grant Committee. Easy when you have good leaders like Christina Green and Jennifer Campos leading the way. I’m happy that all of the difficult work is finished for tomorrow’s UCF Football/ Penn State Watch Party. Now it’s time to just wait to set up and open the doors. I hope this ‘experiment’ for Mulberry Street Bar & Grill works out well. If it does we’ll look to do UCF Watch parties for all of the UCF away games. I’m happy that I am able to use some of my skills and knowledge to assist with program development in Avalon Park. It really feels good to feel like my life is again full of purpose. I still miss working with students on a daily basis. I’m happy that Jacqui and I will be supporting a girl in Haiti so she can attend school. It’s sad but girls can’t go to school without the assistance of others financially. Again, Jennifer Campos, thank you for providing this opportunity to help. I’m happy that many of my great #UCFKnights friends are having a great time in Ireland. Thank you for the pictures and updates. I feel the UCF spirit over there. #IrishKnights #ChargeOn
