Day 9 in the ICU. The doctor paid Jason a visit today. There will be a couple tests run on Monday and two additional specialists called in. They are trying to figure out if one of Jasons kidneys functions better than the other and looking at his ct scans to determine if one of the cyst on his kidney is large enough to get rid of and make more room. For those of you I have not had a chance to explain this to you, Jasons kidney disease adds cysts to his kidneys and they have grown so large there is no room left for his lungs, stomach, and other organs. Room has to be made be either removing a cyst or removing one entire kidney. The tests needed are scheduled Monday and we expect a consult Monday or Tuesday. When we know the next step, we will share that information. Until then, please continue to pray for Jason. Hes recovering from the other issues nicely. Just one more hurdle and we hope to resume life outside the hospital.
