Day 9-travel Day to Venice! We started out the day a little slow and packed and headed to the train station. We were there in plenty of time to people watch. As we were walking to our train along with about 1,000 other people, Lou got pick pocketed. Luckily, they only got 1 card and some cash. He knew immediately and we were on the phone with the bank before anything could happen. No worries..the train drive was beautiful. Many grape vineyards along the way. We got to Venice and couldnt believe our eyes! It was amazing! Lou and I were talking, we have seen so many different places. We had dinner. I had a pasta dish that was made from strawberries and tomatoes that was actually pretty good. It also had scampi in it. After dinner, we went to a festival in the neighborhood that we are staying in. There was lots of dancing and the band was terrific. It was so fun experiencing what Venice is like. Tomorrow we will explore Venice and take a gondola ride that Sarah treated us too.
