Day #90 Happy Birthday Neil Young! Weve been through some things together With trunks of memories still to come We found things to do in stormy weather Long may you run. These hospital days are soo long. Bob is growing inpatient as the hours pass by. Things keep get delayed, pushing his discharge further and further out. At this rate I hope to get him home before Thanksgiving. Im kidding, but these days seem 143 hours long for both of us. He has so much medication going into him its mind-blowing. Thank you Teresa K McConnell for the amazing blueberry cake. We are enjoying it! Thank you Heather Bentley for sending Walla Wallas best kept secret - and she wont tell. My house is clean, scoured and polished and I cant thank her enough. What a much need mental boost, especially this week when my stint as a single parent feels like Im hanging on by a thin thread. Thank you Spencer Betts for non stop yard work and winter prep in the face of the storm. Now good news! Mary Ann Duffy is finished with radiation! Done! She did it! Shes out of the ditch. Chemo, surgery, and radiation - she did it all with grace, beauty, style and courage - and on her terms. It is fitting that today, on Neil birthday, this song belongs to Sean & Mary Ann. Continued health and longevity to both of you. Well see you shortly back on the road. Wait for us there.
