Day 90 of my 100 days of happiness challenge. I’m taking the time to show my appreciation for the good things that made me happy today. Today’s thought for me to ponder: “All good men and women must take responsibility to create legacies that will take the next generation to a level we could only imagine.” Jim Rohn ************************* I’m happy that I spent the morning taking care of myself. Blood work for a visit to the doctor in Tampa next week (they only took good blood); a good but not over done workout at the Y; harder work outside on the spool and landscaping made for a rewarding morning. I’m happy that I spent a major part of the afternoon digitizing pictures. Time went by too fast as I allowed myself to wander into the pictures remembering all of the wonderful moments I’ve had. Pictures of people that I love and that have helped to make me into the person I am today. I accomplished less than 10% of that project. Isn’t it great that we don’t take pictures of the crappy moments of our life? I’m happy that Jacqui and I spent the evening watching Extreme Weight Loss. Today it was about one of the most incredible, caring, loving people in our life, Rod Durham. Rod was a student leader; UCF Orientation Team Leader impacting thousands; a Lambda Chi Alpha at the University of Central Florida Fraternity Brother, confidante, and most important friend. Many tears were shed by both of us. Congratulations my Brother. Have a Blessed night. Tomorrow is going to be better than today.
