Day 95: mornings are handled with great care here..as it pretty much sets the tone of the whole day..somebody woke up grumpy, and no amount of good mornings! was changing it.. What day is it? Tuesday! It was no! No! NO! day.. I asked if he had a bad night, no! Are you hungry, No. Do you hurt anywhere? NO.. Okie dokie then..I just took my coffee outside..I swear even the squirrels were acting crazy.. Off to physical therapy, which today we find, he only has one visit left..hes come so far, but, just not there yet..not being able to motivate him on his own, I may have to resort to food reward program..as that is the ONE thing that he is all about now..leaving rehab, I find security is putting a boot on my car..after a few choice words and a ripped citation, I think I made my point..Lord knows, my patience has been stretched beyond my imagination...but explaining that your rehab parking space was in the rehab lot..we even had our re-hab tags on our shirts..what more proof do you need?? Since we only have one visit left, Im just waiting for another round with dumb and dumber..Im thinking, if there is a boot on my tire, there may be more than a little bit of 5O shades of hold my Jewelry! Run a few errands, get home, feed the bear, pack up moms food and make a quick getaway to mommabears house..her AC was out..but, it was up and running way before I left..so no worries.. I sat out on her patio, she just wanted to talk..so we did..I listened once again to the story of her first date and eventual marriage to my dad..it is a sweet story, and her words flow from her heart..seeing the letters hed written, reading his promises, I thank God he made sure she would always be taken care of..a whirlwind romance that lasted a lifetime..(she was widowed after only 12 years of marriage) and never remarried..she said it clearly, God had a plan for her..at the age of 82, she finally figured it out..and in her own words, I will never want for anything. Thank you Daddy... :o)
