Day-One of the Okanogan experience for me and Shangle. The progression of a Bow-Hunter continues. I spent 11 hours in a ground blind today in freezing temperatures and enjoyed every minute of it. I saw probably 50 to 60 deer today. I lost count on the number of spikes and forks as there were a bunch of them. Not a single shooter walked by all day. There is a dandy 3 X 4 in that area of which if I encounter him tomorrow, he will go for a ride in the back of my truck. For Joel Shangle and I, this is so far a great trip and we have a couple days to go. Fantastic opportunity, I always love new adventures..
