Day Shift Log: 15PF00026-Auto Burg- Kaniksu St.- RP stated that sometime last night her Black Silverado Pick up was broken into and bullets and a magazine were stolen. The RP also said that the same vehicle was broken into a couple of weeks ago. Possibly related to the above incident- The suspect and husband from DUI case #15PF00003 last night called accusing officers on scene of taking her purse. In this case the vehicle was released to the husband on scene. After reviewing all of the videos from this incident, RP was advised that there was video footage of the purse sitting on the front passenger seat and that it was never removed from the vehicle. The suspect told officers that she checked her bank records and she believed that her credit cards had been used after the arrest. Officer asked her if when her vehicle was parked at her residence (Palouse Dr.) it was locked, she told officer that it was and that her vehicle automatically locks when it is parked. (must be a new feature) Officer suggested that since the purse was in the vehicle, she might have been a victim of an auto burg and offered to take a report on the incident. She declined and stated that she was going to continue to look for her purse. Officers did drive through the neighborhood looking to see if someone had possibly tossed it on the side of the road after removing the credit cards but was D5. She may change her mind and decide to report this at a later date. It was suggested that she at least should cancel her credit cards and she stated that she would probably do it tomorrow after she attempted to get money for the Bail Bondsman. 15PF00033- Auto Burg- W.
