Day THREE of the Legislative Bus Tour (Batch #1), Baltimore City & Baltimore County: * Started in Annapolis and rode up to Baltimore City with narration by incoming Del.Brooke Lierman, who knows the Citys neighborhoods super-well; * Visited Under Armour]s world HQ and heard about their exciting plans for adding even more jobs in Maryland!; * Insights on Baltimore City by Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake; * Visited Henderson Hopkins school, where we heard about a very successful school from its principal and then about the enormous impact of Johns Hopkins Medicine on the entire state; * Lunch and lectures at University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus followed by a driving tour around other sections of Baltimore while hearing about planned development; * A visit to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, which I saw 20 years ago on the first legislative bus tour. What an incredible, life-saving place!; and more in the next batch!
