Day TWO in Berlin: Breakfast,at the hotel,is buffet style and really good. I picked my table,put a book near my place,picked out my breakfast and walked back to my table,just to find a man sitting there. I just grabbed my book and walked to another table. The guy looked as if I hurt his feelings and than it darned on me, in Germany total strangers share tables!Oh well !!! I took the subway and a bus to my sisters home. We went to town,eating our way from one great eating place to another. My sister did not call me FRUMPY because I am wearing real nice clothes! She even said I look slender.I noticed that her eye sight and memory is a bit off! But between the two of us,we managed to go back memory lane,praised our mother for raising us well and rejoiced in the new generation,which is growing up in a beautiful,progressive and well to do Country! Taking public transportation,walking in Mid Town in the late evening is safe and even funny,because the Ladies of the Night are not really Ladies! I asked one for directions to my hotel and was surprised about her manly voice.The weather is wonderful! Hot and sunny! Now I am watching BBC to keep up with what is going on in the world!
