Day Whatever: the struggle is real as the war presses on. The nights are short, the noise is loud and the smell of gun smoke fills the air and clogs the lungs. Shots have been fired and, like any well trained army, all shells have been dodged and returned. Im beginning to get weak at the thought of how many missed meals I have passed up. Did I mention restaurant week just passed? How about the friend who has politely reminded me of my favorite meal at Blue Cactus? Or the enticing recipe for an Oreo Ice Cream cake posted to my wall by my sister. And now, the final jagged edged knife in my back. Oreo has decided to come out with a Red Velvet cookie. And in the event I didnt get the update through regular news sources, my allies sent it to me in various forms. Text, e-mail, and naturally, FB. Now....back to my guacamole.
