Day and night #NawazSharif dreams of being Recep Tayyip Erdoğan but has absolutely no caliber or qualification that could make him remotely comparable to the Turkish prime minister. He wants to emulate Erdoğan gutting of his own military but not his role in uplifting Turkey to the status of a key regional economic, diplomatic and military power. As this article shows, Erdoğans government has led a very strong, pro-active and aggressive foreign policy in a regional environment that has been rapidly turning to the point of being unrecognizable, which is exactly what #Pakistan needs as well but unlike Erdoğan, Nawaz Sharif has zero leadership qualities or diplomatic acumen that could make him lead a successful foreign policy at a time when Pakistans core security interests are being significantly challenged by regional developments on both sides of its borders.
