Day by day the old man keeps fighting. Each step forward is followed by a side step and a backwards step. Vitals have been stable although the kidneys are still not in the clear. Pneumonia is being treated with antibiotics and isolation. Lower leg is being vacuum treated to help get rid of the fluids. Gun shot wound really destroyed lots of the veins in the groin area and a huge portion of the flesh has been removed. Bullet is still in there and will not be removed, as the area is still very compromised and may cause more complications if they attempt to remove it. Off to surgery again tomorrow to see how the muscles are doing and hopefully we find more healthy tissue to protect the implanted artery. Off sedation this morning before surgery, I asked him to move his good foot and he did! Asked him to stick out his tongue if he was in pain and also did that...WIN! Still unable to move his hands but I got a really hard try and a shoulder shrug!!!! I love you Dad!!! You got this! I truly believe that God is hearing each and every prayer. Each time someone posts, comments or likes, a thought of hope and prayer is shared. We have people from across the globe praying for my old man and I am overwhelmed with the messages of hope and love that have poured in from day 1. From the bottom of my heart, I thank each one of you for your kind words and generous prayers. I will keep on saying it, my dad is the strongest man i know and God is with us all in love and prayer. Thank you again!
