Day five of the trial of Randy Taylor, the man accused of abducting and killing 17-year-old Alexis Murphy, is underway in Nelson County Circuit Court. The commonwealth rested its case Wednesday morning but not before testimony from one of Taylor’s fellow inmates. One of the last people called as a witness for the commonwealth was an inmate from the Albemarle Charlottesville Regional Jail with Randy Taylor.
