Day is done at the reservation clinic. Now for the three hour ride home. We worked hard today for this people and their animals. One elderly gentleman sat with his dog for an hour while we ran IV fluids in. I picked his brain and he graciously taught me the phrases I asked him to help me learn. As he left, he gave me his name and phone number and told me anytime I want help learning their language, to give him a call. I tried the phrases he taught me on Claudette who had her last day with us and Angie our technician who filmed this first attempt. Go ahead and laugh now, but soon youll be eating pemmican out of the side of your mouth palefaces. Its a wonderful life! Im glad I lived long enough to be able to say that.
