Day one of ECCC was a blast! Met a lot of cool people and numerous awesome members of Webcomic Underdogs. I think the highlight of the day for me was when a customer asked me to do a sketch on the cover of a Batman book (it was a promo Batman book for the New 52 and had a blank white cover, only 1 of 50 copies). Not only did he ask ME of all people to do a sketch on the book, but he even brought a CGC rep with him to verify my signature so that he can get it CGC Signature Series!!!! Never in my wildest dreams did I expect that. My sig....CGCd. I was very nervous about doing the sketch so this was the best I could do under pressure. Its small because he wanted me to leave room in case he got it colored and the colorist wanted to do a sketch on it as well. Thank you customer Ryan! Wherever you are.....
