Day seven on the machine. early this am they ran a camera into his lungs to look for a source of bleeding. THANKFULLY it was not in his lungs (only real good news weve had since the leg surgery). Appears to be from the insertion of the tubes but surgeon says minor. However. They have to go back in with cameras and whatever to now hunt for a possible gall stone that may have gotten by something, (lab tests show its possible). So another MRI as well and for all this...they will keep him deep under.. MAYBE...just MAYBE he said, he would try the vent weaning again later today....and told us to go home till after five. So here we are....waiting...more. At least, he may not remember anything thats happened in the last 8 days...thats what we hope for. For everyone who has practically begged us to help......there is absolutely nothing we can think of except to get Reese at least out of ICU and off the machine. If you have a working wand and fairly dust, I will give you my Avalanche. Seriously. But I also mean, thank you from the bottom of what is left of our hearts, as all we want is him off that machine at this point, Then work on getting him home. Nothing else matters.
