Day three of GOTV (Get Out The Vote) is done for me. I quit a little early (very, very tired). Day four (tomorrow) is for ALL the marbles. Im very confident about the local races weve been working on. Im nervous, but extremely hopeful, about the governors race. No matter what happens, Ill be glad its finally over. Its been a long four years that will never be forgotten. The one good thing that has come out of Scott Walkers reign of terror on Wisconsin is that Ill walk away with hundreds of new compassionate, dedicated, selfless, loving friends who have come together to fight for whats right; to fight the attacks of Walker and his minions on Wisconsins seniors, education system, public workers, kids and the environment. No matter what happens tomorrow, the joy and the heartbreak of the past four years has been an experience Id not trade for anything in the world. The people weve been working with are amazing, and I expect most of us to be friends for the rest of our lives. Please vote your conscience tomorrow. Do it for me and my new friends.
