Day time robbery! I took a taxi to my office on Christmas Eve.... When I asked the driver how much it would cost me. He said, I am going to charge you this xx amount of money, plus xx amount for opening my boots to allow you to put your things in it. I told him that I have never heard just rubbish in my life, taxi drivers charging people to putting items the boots - I allowed him to rant on for some times, lecturing me on Petrol Prices, Road Tax, MOT, Servicing his car etc. I made a phone call, right inside his car and asked his office, why they have been charging customers for opening a car boot and if, trading standards agency were aware of their illegal practices. The driver was shocked that I had the audacity to make that phone call right there and then, and the controller asked,Where did he pick you up from? He said, I will deal with him! Never walk away without saying anything. Imagine, how many people he had made them pay for him just to open his car boot.
