Day two of five days of three positive things as nominated by Ceri Turner. 1) Went to see the new Christopher Dresser gallery, and new Linthorpe Pottery gallery today - its fab! how fantastic that Middlesbrough has this collection, Im really excited to be working with the Dorman Museum. (love this tile for example) 2) There is also another delightful exhibition at Dorman, of kinetic sculpture by Johnny White, an unexpected bonus, I must take Lucie Newmarch-Wright and Scarlet. It made me laugh, is very skilled, aesthetically executed and full of humour. This one is Pigs Might Fly. Actually, it seems they do. 3) I spent a chunk of time this afternoon in the garden, got the lawns cut, the bushes tamed a little, and enjoyed being out in the fresh air with my little gardening assistant. And all before the rain came - bonus was the rainbow that appeared overhead with the rain as the sun went down! Today I nominate Chris Wright Lucie Newmarch-Wright and Gail Wright
