Day two of my deeply corrupted version of Five Of The Best. Ill be dedicating a song a day to five individuals Ive known or worked with in the past, who have left a lasting impression upon me. Today it is the turn of BEM boss David Elliott. Ive met some jammy wankers in my time but David has to take the soggy biscuit. Not only is the bastard incredibly intelligent, cultured and funny, he is also one of those rare arseholes who contributes more to this world than he takes away. David introduced me to an artist called Seth Lakeman a few years back. Dont worry if youve never heard of him, few have. He is however more or less, the Jeff Buckley of the folk world.
