#Day10 They say campus friends can either make you or break you.. The choice of friends at campus level is very important in character shaping. Some can strengthen your vision others can deviate you from that sole vision that had brought you to campus.. But as for my good campus friends and group-mates, yall just strengthened my vision irrespective of the classes we missed...hihi My first day in campus (UoN-Chiromo), I was shy and very naive, I was like an hour early to class and sat outside pondering of the life I was about to begin. Another young girl (Wangari) came along, sat next to me and didnt say a word. We just stared blankly at each other and I continued to wonder away... 30mins to class, a jumpy, jovial and bubbly girl (Christine) came straight to where me n Wangari were and sat between us!! My Lord, from the moment she sat there to today... She has never stopped TALKING!! So when class time reached, she ushered us into class and gave us directives of where to take our seats, like she knew it all!! And that was the intro that opened chapters of true friendship my whole campus life and to date.. The girls I shared my first heartbreak(s) with, the ones that complete my sentences, the ones that we formed coded names for people and coded languages for our gossips especially outside UoN Main Campus Library a.k.a the fashion runway for campus.. Too many amazing memories!! You two ladies remain dear to my life :) Then there was a time I transferred campus(UoN -Kabete) and was met by an amazing clique that pips called Cool Kids!! This clique was just the ish.. That with 2,500 bob, you can have a weekend away to Naivasha for 3days, transporte catered for and all full meals and mbuzi! Haba, haba hujaaza kibaba How we would changa cash pamoja and make it for our endeavors n parties! I can never forget my 21st birthday was courtesy of this group of friends.. You made my campus life just cray, YOLO n amazing..!! Am too grateful for meeting you guys, for embracing me and for all the love and laughs we have shared. Patricia Kihumba, my campus friend turned life-mate, probably my maid of honour... you need a status updated on your own!
