Days. My Poem for Braxton. When I woke up this morning, I was feeling really sad But then I suddenly realised, there’s no reason to feel bad. For today is the day we welcomed you...not the day you went away Today is the day we all believed that you were here to stay. Yes, today is a day to celebrate, because it’s the day that you were born It’s certainly not the right time…for any of us to mourn. We have that day ahead of us, to deal with all our grief A day filled with sorrow and pain...but not with much relief. Today is the Anniversary of the day when you arrived We were all so filled with happiness and welcomed you with pride. A brand new family member to cherish and to love A precious little boy for us...a gift from up above. So today I will try to spend my time being as happy as can be To celebrate the fact that this day means so much to me. A day for joy and happiness and for honouring your Birth For on this day 3 years ago….you came here to us on Earth.
