Days get etched in your mind and your heart and you know that with each calendar you flip, those days are coming. The joyous times you anticipate, you plan for them. Those sorrowful times, your plan is just to make it through the day. Every persons loss is unique in the sense that we are all different. Nobody knows how I feel. They can relate. They can identify and sympathize and Im appreciative for it. But whether it be Jordans, Timbs, stilettos, or high boots, Im the only one walking in my shoes. After shed passed on, I held her hand still. Waited on them to come get her, knowing that I really didnt want them to. She didnt feel cold. She felt like my Dear Mama. I wanted her to wake up and be that. I lost the best friend I ever had or ever will have. I lost the person who loved me more than anything. I lost My soul on November 13, 2003 and every year Im reminded that she is not coming back.
