Dayton - Montgomery County: PUBLIC NOTICE ISSUANCE OF A DRAFT RENEWAL PERMIT On December 17, 2013, Ohio EPA received a Renewal Hazardous Waste Facility Installation and Operation Permit Application from DuPont Electronic Polymers LP, U.S. EPA Identification Number OHD 004 855 292 for its facility located at 1515 Nicholas Road, Dayton, Ohio 45417 in Montgomery County. The Facility began operating in 1936 and has functioned as a research lab and production facility for various agricultural and pharmaceutical products. The Facilitys current operations include a developmental chemical facility involved in the manufacture of polymers and other chemicals for the electronics industry. The purpose of this permit is to allow DuPont to continue Corrective Action activities at the Facility to address historic waste concerns. For the permit application to receive final approval, Ohio EPA must determine that the permit application is complete and meets appropriate standards and that the applicant has a history of compliance with relevant environmental laws and demonstrates sufficient reliability, expertise, and competency to operate a hazardous waste facility.
