Da’wah News : Time to Get Motivated and Praise Allah and Thank Him In Leicster, county of United Kingdom, thirty years ago there was a Theatre run by the prosperous Gujarati community. Another Gujarati community the Bharuchis of central Gujarat bought Apsara. Apsara means a fairy. For the past thirty years Apsara is now Masjid e Uthman, flocked by regular worshippers. In Highfield, Melbourne road once stood a huge church, larger than many European Palaces, now there is a beautifully decorated Masjid with a capacity of accommodating some three thousand worshippers. There was another Church in Cromford Road, where now runs London Azahar Academy, an exclusive Madrasa for girls. In Mumbai there are two Muslim societies I am telling you about. The Momin Colony, three hundred meters away from my house, a colony of around fifteen hundred flats and Gulshan colony on the way to Yari Road, with around five hundred flats stand aloof from the rest of the colonies of Mumbai and around it. These two colonies have rich Muslims, many of them having two large cars bought without car loans. These two are the only colonies in Mumbai and around which do not have any cable TV or Dish TV or Television sets. In the entire Gulf countries the poverty struck Filipinos, flock to work in all fields from Airports to Markets in small, medium and big business houses too. The cheerful Fillipinoes are most common in Da’wah seminars and they enter into Islam in whole sale numbers. The pretty smiling Fillipinoes, race wise are the largest numbers of entrants into Islam. Bt 2005, an estimated 200,000 Filipinos have converted to Islam since the 1970 says Simon Montlake, Correspondent of The Christian Science Monitor. A total of 122 ladies and three men, all expatriates from the Philippines, converted to Islam in Dubai, after a lecture by popular Muslim Filipino orator and preacher and revert Omar Penalbar. The lecture was organised in the Al Twar area in Dubai by the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) in 2010 Ramadaan. The preacher said the previous largest number of people to convert to Islam in the Philippines in one night with his help was 99. A new record has been set today when 125 individuals declared their conversion to Islam. (emirates247/news/emirates/125-filipinos-convert-to-islam-in-dubai-2010-08-29-1.284904) During Ramadan, 20 senior Chinese engineers working on the Al-Masha’er Train project in Makkah embraced Islam. The engineers joined 2,000 Chinese workers on the project who became Muslims after coming to the Kingdom reports Saudi Gazette 28 Sept 2011. The Islamic Cultural Center, Jeddah Daw’ah Center and hundreds of Dawah centers working not only in metropolitan cities but also in villages like Al-Malha and Al-Makhaf. A research conducted by The News International on presence of Islam in Germany shows that in 2009, there were 4.3 million Muslims (5.4 per cent of the total German population) of these, 1.9 million or 2.4 per cent were German citizens. Figures from 2006 showed that about 15,000 converts to Islam hailed from the German ancestry. Islam continues to grow. Are the Muslims growing in taqwa or is it that Allah is replacing us with another people as promised in the last verse of Surah Mohammed. .. If you turn away, Allah will replace you with another people who will not be like you…..by Nisaar Yusuf Nadiadwala so start doing dawah in your area... earn the reward of Allah(swt).......
