Dcb 22/01/2015 New Delhi: After Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar jumped into the Politics, now Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly, popularly known as “Dada” is also planning to do the same. BJP President Amit Shah and some senior party leaders have been touring extensively in West Bengal to strengthen the party,reports claim that Ganguly is in talks with senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and is likely to join the political outfit soon, This is not the first time Ganguly has invoked interest from the BJP. In the run-up to the 2014 general elections, Ganguly was approached by the BJP, however he had declined. If Ganguly joins the BJP, it will be a major acquisition for the party in Bengal, where it has been trying to give a serious challenge to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress.
